Introduction

Robin Stone is a native British Columbian who spent a good deal of his career in public service, from taxi driving and dispatching to assistant managing in banking to social service work with the City of Windsor, to teaching public school in the Ottawa area. Since retiring from teaching, he decided to pursue a career in acting and in 2006, took the big step into the industry. He won a principal role on a pending series, Above the Line, written and directed by Stephen Wallis.  The series, a pilot and 3 episodes, was not picked up due to financial constraints at the time, 2008, but was progressing very well. Since then, he has experienced good success with principal roles in such TV series as Fraud Squad, I Didn't Do It, and Cold Blood, as well as background work on both R.E.D. and The Vow, and a music video for Down With Webster entitled Party For Your Life. Most importantly, Rob completed work on a commercial (60/30/30 segments) for Public Storage in the U.S. via Boxer Films with Rodrigo Saiz, a very well-known and talented director, which aired on major U.S. networks in March of 2014. He also worked on a promo video for The Movie Network, as well as a PTSD video for Key west Video (principal role) and a music video with Brett Kissel (Something You Just Don't Forget). In August of 2015, he decided to return to his home province, BC, and moved the family to Chilliwack, and signed on with a new agency, Premiere Talent Management in Vancouver. Many auditions, several callbacks and holds followed, including a commercial for Denny's (Forever Changed), followed by commercial work with FileMaker Pro,   Remax, Traveller’s Insurance, Miller Lite (Followers), Little Caesar's Pizza, Turbotax, and Associated Bank. In the midst of all this, he filmed an episode of This is That (CBC). Things are continuing to improve and Rob looks forward to a bright future in the industry.

Rob wants to continue as a "working actor" and works very hard at perfecting his skills, a smooth upward journey toward what he hopes will be a lasting impression created in the field of entertainment.

He is a good impressionist and a very diverse actor with potential to be honed into the future. Given a chance, he is an invaluable asset to any form of entertainment and a positive contributor, both from an acting and a motivational standpoint.
